Job summary

BackOps in San Francisco is seeking a senior Product Manager for the Agent Platform to own the platform foundation enabling Relay integrations, security, and scalable workflows across enterprise environments. You’ll lead architecture discussions, work with engineers, founders, and customers to define reusable patterns, and drive reliable, observable product surfaces.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience across product management, engineering, or similar technical product-building roles, with meaningful ownership at Senior or Staff level.
• Built platform, infrastructure, API, integration, workflow, or developer-focused products used in production.
• Exceptional technical fluency; able to discuss architecture, APIs, distributed systems, data models, reliability and tradeoffs with engineers.
• Proven ability to turn ambiguous customer problems into simple, reusable product abstractions.
• Strong customer-obsession with hands-on deployment experience in high-growth environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and roadmap for core capabilities that connect, reason, execute, recover, and scale across enterprise environments.
• Turn deployments into reusable platform capabilities by extracting patterns and abstractions.
• Define platform primitives, interfaces, APIs, and tooling to empower developers and customers.
• Partner with engineering, GTM, and customers to reduce complexity and accelerate time-to-value.
• Establish metrics for scale: time-to-launch, reuse across use cases, reliability and performance.
