Job summary

Airwallex, the AI-native financial operating system, seeks a Senior / Staff Product Manager to shape the future of global money movement and embedded commerce. You will own end-to-end product lifecycle from strategy to global roadmap execution, bridging online payments for platforms with in-person commerce and loyalty ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience in fintech/payments or commerce infrastructure.
• Hands-on expertise in card acquiring, embedded finance, or POS/SoftPOS ecosystems.
• Experience collaborating with engineering on API design and hardware/software interfaces.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to structure complex workflows.
• Entrepreneurial bias and ability to drive initiatives to completion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across regions.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/Engineering or quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Own vision, roadmap, and delivery plans for Airwallex’s platform payments and in-person commerce solutions.
• Architect integrations connecting POS terminal workflows to core clearing, ledgering, and multi-currency settlement engines.
• Build developer-first APIs, unified commerce SDKs, and terminal management systems (TMS).
• Pioneer AI workflows and autonomous agents across onboarding, terminal setup, risk management, and reconciliation.
• Expand capabilities around alternative payment methods (APMs) and loyalty redemption loops.
• Ensure high-availability infrastructure with PCI-DSS, EMV, PSD3/local frameworks and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with Engineering, Hardware/Firmware, Commercial, Legal/Compliance, and Operations to scale globally.
