Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a Product Director to own the financial markets and platform roadmap, leading cross‑functional teams across engineering, partnerships, and operations. The Financial Markets team owns FX, liquidity, and stablecoin platforms, while the Financial Platform team owns ledger, wallet, reporting, and reconciliation.

As Product Director, you’ll mentor PMs and champion fast iteration on launches and enhancements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in product management or related technical fields.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Strong understanding of e-trading, FX, and trading technology.
• Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to structure complex problems with data and first-principles thinking.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the financial markets product strategy, solution design, roadmap, and delivery plans.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers.
• Collaborate with engineering and design to build scalable features for web and mobile.
• Partner with commercial, marketing, legal, and finance to navigate regulatory complexity.
• Balance long-term vision with near-term growth in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
• Expand financial markets into new verticals and validate opportunities end-to-end.
• Monitor product performance and stay ahead of trends in finance, payments, and tech.
