Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking a Senior Analyst for the Enterprise Platform Operations team to design, measure, and optimize data-informed service and property-turn workflows for a single-family rental operator.

The role blends data analysis, workflow design, and process improvement; the ideal candidate turns ambiguous business needs into reliable analytical solutions and clear recommendations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of analytical experience in a business context.
• Strong SQL skills and experience solving complex data problems.
• Experience gathering requirements, defining metrics, validating data, and delivering analytical outputs.
• Ability to understand broader business context and identify root causes.
• Experience analyzing workflows and coordinating with business and technical partners.
• Strong written, presentation, and data storytelling skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently and manage ambiguity in cross-functional efforts.
• Experience with Python; Palantir Foundry; Looker/Tableau/Power BI or similar visualization tools; AI-focused solutions preferred.
• Knowledge of data architecture concepts spanning databases, transformations, semantic models, and applications; real estate or property management domain a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use analytics to investigate operational questions, identify trends, diagnose performance issues, and support decisions.
• Translate business needs into clear requirements, metrics, analytical logic, and visualizations.
• Examine end-to-end workflows to identify root causes, failures, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to design scalable solutions and measure impact on cost, efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Present findings through concise commentary, visualizations, documentation, and stakeholder-ready presentations.
• Assess where AI or automation can improve workflows, communicating tradeoffs clearly.
