Job summary

Serko is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own end-to-end development of our AI products from WA or CA. You will build internal UI dashboards and robust backend services, enabling our AI engineers to deploy safely and scale efficiently.

You’ll collaborate across data and ML teams, craft reliable REST APIs, and implement IaC with cloud familiarity (AWS/GCP/Azure). Join a global team delivering world-class travel tech solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in full-stack engineering.
• Deep Python experience for backend services and REST APIs.
• Frontend proficiency with TypeScript and React.

Responsibilities

• Craft Beautiful Internal UIs: dashboards, model registries, experiment trackers using React/Next.js.
• Nurture Backend Infrastructure: design and support reliable Python backend services and APIs.
• Build Safe, Sustainable Automation: automate model deployment, rollbacks, and scaling with IaC.
• Cultivate System Visibility: integrate Grafana/Prometheus/DataDog for observability.
• Champion Code Quality & Trust: write testing, evaluation, and validation for ML pipelines.
• Partner with Internal Teams: collaborate with data/ML teams and gather feedback.
• Share Knowledge Generously: document systems and contribute to wikis/runbooks.
