Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Platform Integrity Analyst (Starlink) to identify and mitigate abuse risks, develop detection strategies, and investigate scams and illicit activities. The role emphasizes privacy while enforcing enforcement actions and requires collaboration across teams.

The position is based in Hawthorne, CA, onsite, with international and domestic travel up to 15% as needed. Strong analytical skills and OSINT capabilities are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of professional experience in global affairs, intelligence, or investigations; OR 6+ years of professional experience in global affairs, intelligence, or investments in lieu of a degree
• 4+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), geospatial tools (e.g., ArcGIS), and/or statistical software (e.g., R)
• 4+ years of experience investigating, mitigating, or dealing with illicit operators (e.g., fraud, abuse, cybersecurity, or other illicit activities)

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and assess platform integrity and abuse risks
• Develop technical detection and mitigation strategies
• React to investigate potential issues such as scams, fraud, and illicit goods/activities
• Partner with cross-functional teams and deepen our relationships with them
• Conduct periodic reviews to support legal and compliance obligations
• Execute with consideration for customer privacy, targeting activities of indisputable harm and avoiding overreach
