Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst for Starlink Platform Integrity in Bastrop, TX. The role focuses on detecting, preventing, and investigating misuse to safeguard customer trust while protecting privacy.

The candidate will develop detection strategies, work with cross-functional teams, and support legal/compliance activities. Some travel (about 15%) is expected; onsite work in Bastrop is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of professional experience in global affairs, intelligence, or investigations; OR 6+ years of professional experience in global affairs, intelligence, or investigations in lieu of a degree.
• 4+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), geospatial tools (e.g., ArcGIS), and/or statistical software (e.g., R).
• 4+ years of experience investigating, mitigating, or dealing with illicit operators (e.g., fraud, abuse, cybersecurity, or other illicit activities).

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and assess platform integrity and abuse risks
• Develop technical detection and mitigation strategies
• React to investigate potential issues such as scams, fraud, and illicit goods/activities
• Partner with cross-functional teams and deepen our relationships with them
• Conduct periodic reviews to support legal and compliance obligations
• Execute with consideration for customer privacy, targeting activities of indisputable harm and avoiding overreach
