Job summary

KLA is seeking a Lead Platform Infrastructure Engineer in Milpitas to advance our Kubernetes-driven platform. You will build and automate infrastructure, deploy clusters, and drive reliability while enabling application teams to deploy services efficiently.

You will own end-to-end platform components, enhance monitoring, and collaborate on design reviews, with a focus on scale, security, and performance in a cutting-edge semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years running production Kubernetes at scale.
• Experience leading architecture for a platform or major subsystem.
• Linux administration and networking knowledge.
• Infra as code with Terraform, Ansible or Helm.
• Go or Python programming and shell scripting.
• Experience with containers, image builds, registries, CI/CD.
• Monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
