Job summary

Vantor seeks a Senior Platform Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and operate mission-critical software platforms across AWS cloud and customer-owned on-premise infrastructure. You will architect and operate scalable cloud and on-prem deployment platforms, build automation, and improve deployment reliability for commercial and defense customers.

The role emphasizes security, governance, and collaboration with software teams, with in-office collaboration in Denver area 3–5 days per week

Qualifications

7+ years in DevOps, Infrastructure/Platform/SRE
Experience deploying/operating production workloads in AWS
Experience with Linux-based infrastructure
Experience with Kubernetes and containerized apps
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
Experience building CI/CD pipelines
Experience deploying/staffing physical infrastructure
U.S. Citizenship required

Responsibilities

Design and maintain AWS-based production infrastructure
Deploy and support customer-owned on-premise environments
Build repeatable deployment automation for cloud and hardware-based installations
Develop IaC standards for AWS and customer environments
Collaborate with software teams to improve deployment reliability
Support release engineering and production operations
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and networking issues
Implement security best practices across environments
Support vulnerability remediation and compliance initiatives
Participate in architecture reviews and platform roadmap planning
Support customer-facing deployment and operational readiness activities
