The role focuses on distributed design with Go and AWS, collaborating with multiple teams to enable reliable data exchange and interoperable services across the organization, while delivering robust CI/CD and quality code.

Qualifications

• Experience with Golang, Java, or C++ and distributed systems.
• Strong REST API design and web fundamentals.
• Experience deploying services to AWS and using containers (Docker).

Responsibilities

• Provide clarity by designing distributed systems built from iteratively-shipped components.
• Contribute to an event system enabling loose coupling across services.
• Build simple tools to aid frontline support staff.
• Maintain a product registration system.
• Enhance and support integrations with Point of Sale systems for omni-channel strategy.
• Manage a clean CI/CD pipeline to deliver robust changes frequently.
• Design best-fit technical solutions with teammates.
• Identify root causes and propose innovative solutions.
