Job summary

Prudentia Sciences in the Northeast US seeks a Senior Manager, Engineering to build and lead the engineering organization behind our core platform as we scale. Reporting to the CTO and collaborating with AI and Product leaders, you will own the platform engineering function end to end with a growing team of engineers.

You will set technical direction, ensure architecture and code quality, and partner with the Head of AI and Head of Product to translate scientific workloads into reliable software

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack software engineering experience with AWS.
• 3+ years leading or managing engineering teams.
• Experience owning architecture for data-driven apps with APIs and ML backends.
• Frontend architecture and visualization frameworks (React, Redux, D3, Plotly).
• Security/compliance practices (PBAC, RBAC).
• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in CS/SE or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and scale the engineering team with a high craft standard.
• Define and govern engineering processes (planning, reviews, on-call).
• Translate business priorities into a coherent technical roadmap.
• Own core platform architecture for discovery through due diligence and valuation.
• Design scalable APIs between LLM orchestration and the platform.
