Prudentia Sciences is seeking an exceptional Staff Software Engineer to lead and own our core platform. You will oversee front-end and back-end architecture, collaborate with ML and product teams, and drive scalable, data-driven insights for biopharma deal workflows.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Full-Stack Engineering: Experience building modern web applications end-to-end with frontend and backend tech.
• Product & Platform Development: Designing data-driven apps that integrate with APIs, jobs systems, or ML backends.
• Frontend Architecture & UX: Proficient in component-based design and visualization for interactive UX.
• Backend & API Engineering: RESTful/GraphQL APIs, auth, event-driven workflows.
• Database & Data Flow: Relational and NoSQL databases, efficient data access layers.
• Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps: AWS/GCP/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD.
• Security & Compliance: Secure data handling and compliance in healthcare/life sciences environments.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Platform Ownership: Design, build, and scale the web platform for deal teams to manage drug assets.
• Frontend Architecture & UX: Create data-rich UIs to upload, manage pipelines, and view insights.
• Workflow & Orchestration: Implement backend services coordinating ingestion, ML jobs, and results.
• Data Visualization & Insight Delivery: Build dynamic components for risk analyses and deal insights.
• API & Integration Engineering: Maintain scalable APIs between LLM orchestration and platform.
• Reliability & Scalability: Deploy on AWS; ensure high availability and secure data handling.
