Job summary

Realtor.com is seeking a Senior Technical SEO & Social Lead to own the organic growth platform, spanning SEO, social sharing, and deeplinking infrastructure. You will set technical direction, drive cross-team fixes, and partner with product leads to translate strategy into scalable technology.

You will collaborate across engineering and Organic Growth to ensure crawl, render, and sharing pathways perform reliably at scale and are continuously improved with data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Experience with federated GraphQL and API gateway architectures.
• Rendering fluency: React/Next.js, SSR/SSG/ISR/CSR implications.
• Experience defining SLOs and real-time alerts for a platform.
• Ability to lead cross-team technical initiatives without direct authority.
• Hands-on with crawl budget, indexation, rendering and deeplinking.

Responsibilities

• Set the technical strategy for SEO at scale (crawl budget, indexation, canonicalization, robots, sitemaps, rendering).
• Own organic social sharing and deeplinking strategy, including AppsFlyer link generation and attribution.
• Lead SEO and deeplinking incident response across edge, delivery, bot management, rendering, and data services.
• Own escalation framework, run war rooms, and close post-mortems with new alerts and runbooks.
• Define SLOs/SLIs and on-call model with the observability engineer.
• Provide visibility into changes touching organic-critical pages and share paths with Organic Growth PMs.
• Oversee log-file, crawl-budget, and deeplink-performance analysis; collaborate with data engineer on pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and raise the engineering bar through design reviews.
