Job summary

Socket is seeking a senior DevOps/SRE engineer to scale our infrastructure and support a growing customer base. You will work with engineers to improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency while shaping our deployment pipelines and observability practices.

You will join early in a fast-paced environment, building repeatable systems and framework guidelines to guide the engineering team as we scale. Remote-friendly, with team off-sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 1+ year in a DevOps or SRE role.
• Experience working with distributed cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with cloud and observability tooling.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Debug production issues and improve system performance.
• Own and evolve infrastructure for reliability and cost efficiency.
• Define SLIs/SLOs for systems and measure reliability.
• Maintain deployment pipelines and address production failures.
