Job summary

IPSY is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Digital Experience team. You will design and build platform solutions using Next.js, TypeScript, and ChakraUI, while collaborating with Infrastructure, SRE, and Security teams to ensure scalable, reliable systems for IPSY’s subscriptions.

You’ll own gateway services, mobile ecosystem support (React Native), observability, analytics, and AI enablement initiatives, with a fully remote role limited to U.S.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Next.js and React.
• Experience designing shared libraries/services used by multiple teams.
• Hands-on with Kong API Gateway and Lua scripting.
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD (Jenkins) and deployments on Netlify/Vercel.
• Experience with observability/monitoring tools (Datadog) and analytics platforms (Statsig, Amplitude).
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain shared components and services using Next.js/TypeScript/ChakraUI.
• Oversee Kong API Gateway services and cloud deployments with AWS and Netlify/Vercel.
• Build and support the mobile ecosystem (React Native) where applicable.
• Implement monitoring/observability with Datadog.
• Advance experimentation/analytics with Statsig and Amplitude.
• Drive performance improvements and contribute to AI enablement across the platform.
