Job summary

IPSY, a remote-first beauty platform, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Digital Experience team. You will design, build, and scale platform solutions using Next.js, TypeScript, Chakra UI, Kong API Gateway, and React Native, collaborating with Infrastructure, SRE, and Product teams to ship reliable experiences for millions of subscribers.

You'll own gateway services, observability, analytics, and AI enablement, driving performance improvements and building shared tooling that empowers

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience developing platform or full-stack applications in JavaScript/TypeScript with Next.js and React.
• Experience designing and maintaining shared libraries, common services, or internal platform components.
• Experience with AWS, CI/CD (Jenkins), and deployments on Netlify or Vercel.
• Experience with observability/tools (Datadog), analytics/experimentation platforms (Statsig, Amplitude).
• Creative, precise problem solver focused on scalable platform solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support modern platform solutions in Next.js/TypeScript/ChakraUI.
• Oversee and optimize Kong API Gateway services and cloud deployments (AWS, Netlify, Jenkins).
• Build and support the mobile ecosystem (React Native) for reliability across surfaces.
• Develop analytics/experimentation tooling (Statsig/Amplitude) for data-driven decisions.
• Drive performance improvements across platform services to improve reliability and UX.
• Contribute to AI enablement across the platform with safe, reusable tooling.
