Job summary

IPSY is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for its Digital Experience team. You will design, build, and support modern platform solutions using Next.js, TypeScript, Chakra, Kong API Gateway, and React Native, collaborating across Infrastructure, SRE, InfoSec, MarTech, and Frontend teams.

The role focuses on scalable platform development with a strong emphasis on performance, analytics, and AI enablement. Remote-first, full-time position with opportunities to shape IPSY's product stack.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience developing platform or full-stack applications in JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience designing and maintaining shared libraries, common services, or internal platform components.
Experience with AWS, CI/CD (Jenkins), and deployments on Netlify or Vercel, in partnership with Infrastructure teams.
Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Datadog), product analytics or experimentation platforms (Statsig and Amplitude).
A creative, precise problem solver with a strong focus on building modern, scalable platform solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee and optimize platform services and gateway integrations to support millions of IPSY subscribers.
Build and evolve the Android/iOS and web app ecosystems with React Native and web tech.
Partner with Infrastructure, SRE, and Frontend teams to ensure reliable performance at scale.
Contribute to AI enablement and safe, efficient tooling across the platform.
Drive performance improvements and ensure observability and analytics are embedded.
