Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience building large-scale distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP) for large-scale systems.
• Solid fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teams.
• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate the performance testing platform used across Search.
• Build and improve traffic capture/replay and load-generation tooling and pipelines for performance data at scale.
• Apply statistical analysis to translate dev-environment results to production behavior and detect regressions.
• Collaborate with product, search, and information intelligence teams to define infrastructure requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Monitor health and performance of critical infrastructure and participate in on-call rotations.
