Job summary

Apple Inc. in Santa Clara, CA seeks a System Performance Engineer - AI/ML to benchmark AI experiences across devices. You will curate AI workloads, define metrics, and analyze performance to guide hardware and software optimizations.

You will collaborate with silicon, OS, and applications teams, present insights to leadership, and stay current with AI developments, frameworks, accelerators, and device features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
• Experience in performance measurement, analysis, debug, and optimization using profiling tools.
• Experience curating, running, and interpreting AI/ML workloads or benchmarks with relevant runtimes.

Responsibilities

• Curate and define AI workloads representing real user experiences; define metrics and design experiments.
• Run workloads across diverse hardware/software and build data-informed insights.
• Analyze system behavior to explain numbers and identify optimization opportunities across hardware and software.
