Job summary

CJ in the United States is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the EngExp platform. You will own reliability across AWS regions and Kubernetes clusters, mentor engineers, and enforce platform standards while shaping cost visibility and security practices.

The role emphasizes deep expertise in observability, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring 3 days in the office.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software and/or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes and AWS at scale.
• Operational depth in at least one system beyond the cluster, e.g., observability stack.
• Strong AWS networking judgment and ability to lead technical work.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability and operability of core systems across regions.
• Establish and enforce platform standards including RBAC and policy-as-code.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code with Terraform across AWS accounts.
• Review infrastructure changes to catch long-term risks before ship.
• Mentor engineers and raise the team's depth in owned components.
