Job summary

CJ is seeking a Software Engineer 3 to help run and evolve the EngExp platform across multiple AWS regions. You will own meaningful pieces of the platform, focusing on observability, CI/CD pipelines, and secure infrastructure practices.

You will work in a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable systems and tooling for CJ's production environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in software or infrastructure engineering.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes and at least one major cloud (AWS preferred).
• Proven depth in observability stack and CI/CD infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve platform components with risk-aware changes.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) across AWS accounts.
• Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines and GitOps (ArgoCD).
• Enforce platform standards: RBAC, admission webhooks, resource limits.
• Turn recurring requests into self-service workflows.
• Respond to platform incidents to drive learning and improvements.
• Review infrastructure changes (Terraform, Kubernetes).
