Job summary

Commission Junction LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the EngExp platform team. You will own reliability, operability, and platform standards across multiple AWS regions and Kubernetes clusters. The role emphasizes deep expertise in observability, CI/CD, and secure, scalable infrastructure.

You will mentor engineers, review changes for long-term risk, and drive improvements in governance and self-service capabilities. CJ values practical, critical thinking and strong collaboration.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software and/or infrastructure engineering.
• Deep, hands-on production experience operating Kubernetes and AWS at scale across multiple regions/accounts.
• Proven ability to review changes for long-term risk and reliability.
• Strong AWS networking judgment (VPC, peering, Transit Gateway).
• Experience mentoring engineers and influencing design.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability and operability of EngExp platform systems across regions.
• Establish and enforce platform standards (RBAC, admission webhooks, resource limits).
• Manage infrastructure-as-code with Terraform across AWS accounts.
• Review infrastructure changes to catch subtle issues and long-term risks.
• Turn recurring requests into self-service workflows and drive incident resolution.
