Job summary

Seneca Resources Company, LLC is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer III to design and operate Kubernetes-based container platforms supporting mission-critical federal workloads at JBAB in Washington, DC. You will embed in an Agile delivery team, delivering high-availability platforms and ensuring security and reliability for government workloads.

Eligible candidates hold an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and 6+ years in systems/DevOps with hands-on Kubernetes/OpenShift experience.

Qualifications

Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility required.
CKA, Terraform Associate, and DoD 8140/8570 aligned certifications required.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline preferred; equivalent experience accepted.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and operate Kubernetes and OpenShift container platforms in enterprise environments.
Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
Ensure scalability, reliability, security of containerized workloads.
Troubleshoot production incidents in real time and communicate risks clearly.
Participate in Agile planning and continuous improvement ceremonies.
Engage with government stakeholders to explain platform status and decisions.
Collaborate to deliver innovative, customer-focused container solutions.
Build trust with federal clients through technical excellence.
