Job summary

Clarity Innovations seeks an Infrastructure Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting the next generation of cyber operations. You will work across backend and infrastructure to deliver provisioning systems, using Kubernetes, Terraform, and automation to enable secure DoD workflows.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines, security-first practices, and observability with Prometheus and Grafana. On-site presence 1–2 days/week at government locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Mission-focused mindset with an emphasis on cyber objectives.
• Bias for action, ownership, and drive to complete missions.
• Current Top Secret with SCI eligibility clearance.
• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years in engineering roles.
• >4 years as Platform/Full Stack Engineer or similar.
• Familiar with Kubernetes production environments.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus.
• Experience with Helm charts for packaging apps.
• Ability to collaborate and work independently.
• Thrives in high-trust startup environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps deployments.
• Familiar with Docker/Podman containers.
• Understanding of Terraform IaC.
• Proficient in Go, Python, or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, and deploy Kubernetes and cloud-based systems (AWS/Azure).
• Provision IaC using Terraform, Crossplane, or Ansible; manage environments with KIND.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize workloads; ensure service reliability.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and secure DevSecOps practices (FIPS, Zero Trust).
• Ensure system observability with Prometheus and Grafana; troubleshoot incidents.
• Collaborate in sprint planning and drive automation to reduce manual work.
• Document solutions and share knowledge across teams.
