DigiCert, a global leader in intelligent trust, seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to elevate our infrastructure, automation, and operational excellence. The role focuses on scalable, secure automation and reliable systems.

You will guide CI/CD, IaC, and dashboards while mentoring the team. The ideal candidate has strong Linux administration skills, extensive scripting experience, and hands-on AWS/Terraform expertise to drive high-availability environments.

Competenze

• Strong Linux systems administration background.
• Proficient in scripting and automation using Ansible, Bash, Python, Packer, and Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, IAM, VPC) and provisioning tools like Terraform and Packer.
• Experience with datacenter operations including racking, stacking, and remote system management.
• Proven ability to manage and configure systems at scale with zero-touch provisioning.

• Implement infrastructure automation, monitoring, and reliability practices to achieve 100% service availability.
• Perform forensic system administration and troubleshoot Linux services.
• Adopt SecOps mindset with secure automation and hardened Linux administration.
• Champion DevOps practices including CI/CD, IaC, and zero-touch provisioning.
• Utilize release, incident, capacity planning, and operational readiness best practices.
• Instrument services with dashboards to speed triage and reduce MTTR.
• Provide technical leadership across the team and mentor peers.
• Identify opportunities to increase system resiliency.
• Define direction for infrastructure, cloud, networking (BGP), and automation strategy.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents with empathy.
• Maintain standard operating procedures and system documentation.
• Research, prototype, and adopt new technologies across cloud, virtualization, and hardware.
