Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group’s IT department seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Windows Server Technology team in Miramar, FL. This role provides infrastructure for compute needs across business and partner teams worldwide, with cross-functional projects and opportunities to influence platforms.

You will lead a team of systems engineers, implement automation, ensure security and SDLC compliance, and partner with vendors to deliver scalable compute and storage solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Hyper-V/VMware virtualization.
• 3+ years in Azure/AWS hybrid clouds.
• 5+ years managing a Windows Server environment.
• 3+ years with Cisco UCS.
• 3+ years hyperconverged infrastructure.
• Scripting with PowerShell.
• 5+ years Group Policy/DSC.
• IaC with Terraform/DSC/Puppet/Ansible.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain global virtual compute environment with performance and security focus.
• Design/maintain monitoring, reporting and capacity planning.
• Develop virtualization DR strategy aligned with production goals.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to deliver compute/storage plans.
• Lead/mentor a team of systems engineers.
• Drive automation to improve processes and efficiency.
• Ensure SDLC compliance and industry standards.
