Job summary

Fearless is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to reinforce our enterprise engineering platform for federal student aid modernization. You will design and integrate APIs across GitLab, Jira, Datadog, Databricks, and Figma, building scalable, secure cloud-native services.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive automated CI/CD, DevSecOps, and reliable delivery while aligning with Fearless standards and client objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or enterprise integration roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or four (4) additional years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Proven experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating enterprise SaaS platforms and third-party services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain API-based integrations between enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Build and enhance platform services to enable cloud-native apps.
• Collaborate with platform engineers, product managers, and stakeholders on modernization goals.
• Implement automation and reusable services to standardize CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
• Ensure security and reliability for high-volume production environments.
