Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer (DevSecOps) to design, build, and scale cloud-based applications and a Digital Twin environment. You will enable an agile team of engineers, collaborating with RF hardware and systems designers to deliver high-performance, secure solutions.

The role emphasizes Terraform-based infrastructure, OpenShift/Kubernetes environments, and robust CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• BS/BA + 5 years or equivalency.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure engineering.
• Extensive hands‑on engineering experience in one or more of OpenShift, AWS, GCP or Rancher.
• Expert Terraform skills and IaC experience.
• Experience operating production Kubernetes clusters (OpenShift/Rancher).
• Experience with containers (Docker, Podman) and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or Jenkins).
• Scripting/programming abilities.
• Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or similar.
• Build, optimize, and maintain production-grade CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or Jenkins).
• Build and maintain automation using scripts and other tools.
• Configure and tune groups, application gateways, and other protective cloud controls.
• Manage compute, storage, networking, and database services across cloud environments with security/compliance.
• Collaborate to integrate testing into pipelines.
• Establish and enforce security best practices for system implementations and data privacy.
• Provision OpenShift/Kubernetes environments across security domains in Cloud, data center, and edge environments.
• Conduct trade studies to balance security, performance, cost, and time to operations.
• Collaborate with teams to understand integration requirements and scale platforms.
• Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and develop secure solutions.
