Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud-native applications within a DevSecOps team. You will enable a multidisciplinary group to meet requirements of a mission-critical RF system with a Digital Twin environment, collaborating with RF hardware engineers and system designers to deliver high-performance, reliable solutions.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required.
Active TS/SCI clearance.
BS/BA + 7 years or equivalent in related field.
7+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure engineering.
Extensive hands-on experience with OpenShift, AWS, GCP or Rancher.
Expert Terraform skills with infrastructure as code.
Experience operating production Kubernetes clusters (OpenShift/Rancher).
Experience with containers (Docker, Podman) and CI/CD (GitLab/Jenkins).
Scripting/programming abilities.
Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD).

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support IaC-based services using Terraform or similar.
Build, optimize, and maintain production-grade CI/CD pipelines (GitLab or Jenkins).
Build and maintain automation using scripts and other tools.
Configure and tune groups, application gateways, and other protective cloud controls.
Manage compute, storage, networking, and databases across cloud environments with security/compliance.
Collaborate closely with engineers to integrate testing into pipelines.
Establish and enforce security best practices for system implementations and data privacy.
Provisioning Red Hat OpenShift/Kubernetes environments across multiple security domains.
Conduct trade studies to select open-source, commercial or govt solutions balancing security/cost/performance.
Collaborate with teams to understand integration requirements and scale platforms.
Work with Security to ensure ongoing compliance and secure solutions.
