Job summary

CACI International Inc. seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join a DoD/AF cloud-native platform team. The role emphasizes Kubernetes platform engineering, Terraform IaC, GitOps, and secure CI/CD automation across critical environments.

Responsibilities include deploying and sustaining Kubernetes platforms, building IaC, securing pipelines, and ensuring compliance with DISA STIGs, NIST SP 800-53, RMF, and ATO processes for multi-tenant, mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• 7+ years of professional experience with a related degree.
• Experience developing Terraform modules and reusable IaC patterns for cloud, network and Kubernetes.
• Experience in GitOps workflows with Argo CD, Flux, GitLab, GitHub or similar.
• 3–5 years designing and deploying Kubernetes-based solutions; Big Bang a plus.
• Experience with AWS services (EKS, IAM, VPC, EC2, S3, Route 53, CloudWatch).
• Familiarity with DISA STIGs, RMF, NIST SP 800-53, ATO processes and continuous monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and sustain Kubernetes-based platforms using Big Bang, Helm and GitOps.
• Develop Terraform-based IaC for cloud, Kubernetes resources, networking, IAM and services.
• Build secure CI/CD pipelines with reusable templates and automated testing.
• Address security findings per vulnerability-management SLAs.
• Implement hardened Kubernetes baselines aligned with DISA STIGs and NIST standards.
• Manage Kubernetes security controls including RBAC and network policies.
• Maintain GitOps workflows with Git as the source of truth.
• Monitor CI/CD platforms and Kubernetes workloads; troubleshoot issues.
• Develop automated patching and compliance-validation processes.
• Produce architecture diagrams, procedures, scans, remediation plans and POA&M updates.
• Support RMF and ATO lifecycle activities with evidence collection.
