Job summary

Incedo, a US-based consulting and technology services firm, seeks a Senior Staff Platform Engineer / SME to lead infrastructure security management for our core cloud services. This role acts as a first line of architectural authority for DevSecOps and proactive platform hardening.

You will design IaC with Crossplane, Terraform and Helm, collaborate across product, security, and QA teams, mentor junior engineers, drive zero-downtime Kubernetes maintenance, and help automate and optimize delivery

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of work experience in relevant field.
• B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university; Computer science background preferred.
• 3–10 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role with a strong dev and infra operations background.
• Proficiency with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or ArgoCD.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage IaC solutions (Crossplane, Terraform, Helm) for cloud resources.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, InfoSec, and other stakeholders on platform requirements.
• Collaborate with dev, ops, and QA teams to streamline software delivery and ensure high-quality releases.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize DevOps tools for reliability and cost.
• Design zero-downtime maintenance strategies for Kubernetes fleets and cloud resources.
• Mentor junior platform engineers and provide guidance to foster growth.
• Integrate security controls into DevOps processes and infrastructure.
• Document designs, procedures, and configurations for knowledge sharing.
