Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years building and scaling distributed systems.
• Experience in a cloud-native environment.
• Proven Python and Go development experience.
• Experience operating Kubernetes at scale and with Terraform.
• Solid understanding of Linux networking and stack.
• Familiarity with platform areas like APIs, observability, or async tooling.
• AI fluency in work projects or personal experiments with responsible use.

Responsibilities

• Ship foundational services to enable engineering to move faster with confidence.
• Guide design and development of platform primitives (Infra, Databases, Queuing) to empower product teams.
• Design, develop, and deliver software to improve availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of core platforms.
• Design and develop systems enabling highly available and scalable applications.
• Leverage Python, Go, AWS, and Kubernetes to advance the platform.
• Mentor and pair with other engineers to improve performance, resilience, and defensive programming.
