Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Austin, TX is seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP, with GitOps-driven deployments and CI/CD automation.

You will collaborate with Platform Engineering and software teams to enable high-quality software delivery, implement IaC, and build internal tooling in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong Kubernetes and container workloads (Docker, Helm).
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, OpenTofu, or similar).
• Experience with GitOps tooling—ArgoCD or FluxCD required.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language.
• Understanding of software design principles, APIs, and automated testing.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Experience with AWS; GCP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure across multi-cloud environments.
• Enable high-quality software delivery with GitOps-driven deployments and automation tooling.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering, software development, and application teams to improve service reliability.
• Maintain GitOps-style deployments and improve CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
