Job summary

GC AI is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to own the foundational infrastructure, spanning networking, compute, storage, and deployment pipelines on Google Cloud Platform. You will define and enforce IaC standards using Terraform or Pulumi, unifying observability and logging, and reducing toil for a faster, more reliable platform.

You will influence engineering direction and collaborate with DevOps and backend teams to raise the bar across the organization.

Qualifications

Proven experience building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure on GCP.
Experience defining and enforcing IaC standards with Terraform, Pulumi or similar.
Strong skills in CI/CD and deployment pipelines for reliable software delivery.
Ability to unify logging and observability across complex systems for actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Own the infrastructure foundation on GCP, including IAM, networking, compute, and storage.
Define and enforce IaC standards to automate repeatable environments.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe deployments.
Improve observability with centralized logging and meaningful alerts.
Reduce toil and improve tooling to speed up engineering work.
Contribute to engineering culture and technical direction.
