Job summary

Sprig is seeking a Platform Engineer to own the build-and-test loop for an agent-heavy world. You will modernize our monorepo (TypeScript, React, Go) and bring faster, more reliable builds and tests.

You will design hermetic environments, per-branch sandboxes, and a robust automation layer that scales with billions of events monthly. You will drive telemetry, cache management, and test strategies to reduce flake and cost while delivering a developer experience that makes CI predictable and fast

Qualifications

• 6+ years owning a monorepo build system at scale, with hermetic builds and caching.
• Experience turning CI into a platform with shared tooling and feedback loops.
• Ownership of frontend build pipelines, packages, and test suites in large repos.
• Deep knowledge of Node.js module resolution, packaging, and Go interop.
• Ability to reduce noise and ensure reproducible results across teams.

Responsibilities

• Modernize the JavaScript and TypeScript build, migrating to maintained tooling.
• Cut CI time and cost with better caching, incremental builds, and test parallelism.
• Make the build observable with per-target telemetry and cost metrics.
• Own test automation across unit, integration, browser end-to-end, and visual tests.
• Move from long-lived environments to per-branch ephemeral stacks.
