General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Lead Platform Engineer to drive the Software Factory capability for the US Space Force. You will architect and operate Azure cloud and Kubernetes environments, deploy Jira/Confluence/GitLab, and lead DevSecOps initiatives across teams.

You will mentor teams in IaC, automation, and secure pipelines, with up to 25% travel and a Top Secret/US citizenship requirement.

Formación

• 10+ years of DevOps/Cloud experience.
• US Citizenship required.
• DoD Secret Security Clearance with ability to obtain TS.
• BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Linux and Linux-based operating systems.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Familiar with at least one programming or scripting language.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Experience with containerization and Kubernetes deployments.
• Experience with Kubernetes Persistent Volumes/Volume Claims and CSI plugins.
• Proven technical leadership for DevOps or cloud teams.
• Excellent communication skills with customers and teams.
• DoD 8140 Certification is desired.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm and GitOps techniques.
• Knowledge of secure development and software supply chain practices.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsabilidades

• Architect and maintain IaC build, test, and deployment CI/CD pipelines.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters in Azure, including lab and production environments.
• Deploy Jira, Confluence, and GitLab to Azure VMs.
• Use Helm to deploy and integrate tools (Harbor, SonarQube, Keycloak, Nexus, ArgoCD) on Kubernetes.
• Onboard teams to the Software Factory platform and automate pipelines.
• Guide guidelines for deploying to Azure Cloud and Kubernetes, including security requirements.
• Educate teams on DevSecOps practices and tooling.
• Lead DevSecOps architects, engineers, and coaches to raise performance.
