Job summary
GAINSCO seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to advance enterprise platform engineering and DevSecOps. You will shape Infrastructure as Code across Azure and VMware, modernize pipelines, and promote CI/CD standards. You will collaborate with IT Operations, Software Development, and QA to improve release readiness and platform reliability.
The role requires 8+ years in IT infrastructure, strong Azure and DevOps experience, and excellent communication. Hybrid work with generous benefits is offered.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in IT infrastructure, platform engineering, cloud, or DevOps.
- 5+ years Windows Server and IIS architecture/administration.
- 3+ years of production infrastructure as code experience.
- 3+ years of Azure DevOps pipeline experience and YAML migrations.
- Strong experience with enterprise observability platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of Infrastructure as Code across Azure and VMware.
- Modernize Azure DevOps pipelines and automate deployments.
- Establish CI/CD standards across the technology org.
- Design observability, configuration management, and release practices.
- Collaborate with IT, software dev, and QA to improve pipelines and releases.
- Provide senior technical guidance across platform initiatives.
- Support production deployments and on-call activities.
