Job summary

Colossus Technologies Group is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and scale AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure from the ground up. This hands-on role focuses on architecting cloud environments, provisioning clusters, automating infrastructure, and solving complex scalability challenges.

You will own infrastructure projects end-to-end, develop Python-based automation and tooling, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on platform/infrastructure engineering experience.
• Proven ability to design and deploy AWS environments from scratch.
• Deep Kubernetes expertise in production clusters.
• Strong Python for automation and tooling.
• Experience with Terraform and IaC workflows.
• CI/CD pipeline design and deployment automation.
• Linux networking and distributed systems proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale AWS infrastructure from scratch for prod workloads.
• Design and configure Kubernetes clusters including EKS, networking, storage, autoscaling.
• Own infra projects end-to-end—from design to production support.
• Build infrastructure-as-code solutions with Terraform or similar tools.
• Develop Python automation, tooling and backend services.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability across infra and clusters.
• Troubleshoot complex infra issues across Linux and distributed systems.
• Establish infra best practices and technical standards as the platform grows.
