Job summary

UpGuard is seeking a Platform Engineer to own and evolve the technology platform, ensuring secure-by-default operations. You will automate repetitive tasks, optimize identity systems, and maintain scalable, compliant infrastructure.

You’ll lead end-to-end platform ownership for Google Workspace, Okta, and enterprise MDM, and drive Zero Trust and automation tooling that reduce manual work and improve reliability.

Qualifications

• Own and evolve the technology platform with minimal friction and secure-by-default posture.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and establish metrics for performance and compliance.
• Architect and operationalize identity systems and SaaS platforms across the fleet.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end platform ownership for Google Workspace, Okta, and enterprise MDM (Kandji/Jamf).
• Architect robust SSO/SAML integrations and SCIM provisioning; design scalable role hierarchies.
• Own Cloudflare Zero Trust environment including ZTNA, Secure Web Gateway, DNS filtering, and access policies.
• Build production-grade tooling using REST APIs, Python, Apps Script, and n8n to remove manual work.
