Job summary

UpGuardian is seeking an Engineering Platform role focused on building and running the corporate tech stack with Zero Trust and identity at scale. You’ll automate workflows, manage endpoints, and secure access across SaaS, identity, and fleet management.

The role emphasizes ownership, practical security as an outcome, and reducing repetitive work through code. You’ll work with Google Workspace, Okta/Entra, and MDM tools; you’ll contribute to Cloudflare Zero Trust and modern network access

Qualifications

• Depth across enterprise SaaS and identity; experience administering Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, and IdP such as Okta or Entra, with MDM at scale.
• Hands-on Zero Trust experience, e.g. ZTNA, Secure Web Gateway, or modern network access controls (Cloudflare, Zscaler, Netskope, Entra Private Access).
• You should be comfortable taking ownership of an existing Cloudflare implementation and improving it.

Responsibilities

• Own platform identity and fleet management across macOS and ChromeOS devices.
• Operate and improve Cloudflare Zero Trust environment and access policies to reduce friction.
• Develop internal tooling using Python, REST APIs, Apps Script, Terraform, and AI-assisted workflows.
• Lead incident, problem and change management; define service metrics and maintain runbooks.
• Drive reliability with zero-touch provisioning, endpoint compliance, monitoring and governance.
• Collaborate on security controls, DNS, certificates, and secure network access.
