Job summary

C3 AI is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Platform to join our Platform Engineering team in Redwood City. You will design, build, and maintain core platform services and developer tools to enable enterprise AI applications.

You will drive automation of testing, integration, and deployment, and develop infrastructure automation for reliable cloud environments. You will mentor engineers and own features end-to-end in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of backend, platform, DevOps, infrastructure, or distributed systems engineering in production.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Groovy.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build systems, release automation, and testing workflows.
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform; cloud provisioning experience.
• Familiarity with Go for infra tooling or cloud platform development.
• Experience designing scalable platform services, APIs, or developer tools.
• Strong problem-solving, ownership, and cross-team collaboration.
