Job summary

Camber, based in New York City, seeks an experienced Platform Engineer to join as the third member of the Platform team. You will own reliability, security, and tooling across services, enabling rapid, safe development and AI-powered features.

You will shape non‑functional standards, collaborate cross‑functionally, and help build an environment where engineers can work efficiently and securely with LLMs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of platform engineering or adjacent background (SRE, DevOps).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and open‑source tooling.
• Track record of incident leadership and blameless post‑mortems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability of core services (PostgreSQL on RDS, ECS, CI/CD, OpenTelemetry on Datadog).
• Drive security initiatives with minimal friction.
• Create tools and promote best practices for engineers.
