Job summary

Verily Health is building a Developer Platform to accelerate the software lifecycle for over 600 developers. You will own platform capabilities and contribute to cloud-native infrastructure using Kubernetes, VSCode, Backstage, and Terraform, while advancing AI-enabled features.

The team emphasizes speed, reliability, and developer experience, with a focus on secure, scalable delivery and close collaboration with engineers across the product.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience with 3+ years in production software development.
• Experience with cloud providers (GCP/AWS/Azure) and CI/CD tooling.
• Strong data structures, algorithms, and system design knowledge; good debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills for feature discussions and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Own the implementation for a significant platform capability or set of capabilities.
• Design and develop cloud-native capabilities using Kubernetes, VSCode, Backstage, Terraform and AI enhancements.
• Collaborate effectively with teammates and drive high-quality code, monitoring, and frequent releases.
