Job summary
Ralliant is seeking a Principal Platform Engineer to lead the design, development, and operation of our internal developer platform. You will own core services end-to-end, enforce architecture standards, and drive AI-first delivery across cloud, DevOps, SRE, and software engineering disciplines.
You will mentor engineers, shape golden paths across operating companies, and ensure reliable, secure, and cost-efficient platforms.
Qualifications
- Depth across platform disciplines with hands-on experience in building and operating services consumed by multiple teams.
- Hands-on experience building internal developer platforms and shared services with self-service capabilities.
- Strong AWS/Azure/GCP expertise; containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, and networking.
- Deep CI/CD and GitOps experience, delivering pipelines and environment automation.
- Production ownership experience with reliability, security, and cost management.
Responsibilities
- Build platform capability hands-on from architecture to production and ongoing operation.
- Steward platform architecture and standards, shaping reference architectures and paved roads.
- Advance AI-first software delivery to raise developer throughput and extend the platform.
