Job summary

Logoslabs is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to own the MCP Gateway and associated tooling, driving secure integrations and scalable distribution pipelines. You will build observable infrastructure, govern authentication for machine-to-machine calls, and shape cost attribution across teams and models.

You will mentor engineers, extend tooling for agentic workflows, and ensure robust plugin ecosystems. This role demands platform depth with real user impact and measurable spend control.

Qualifications

• BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Production ownership of a backend service or developer platform with API gateway, release process, and operational health.
• Strong production experience in Python, TypeScript/Node, Go, or similar with modern CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with authentication/authorization for machine-to-machine traffic (OAuth2, OIDC, M2M).
• Experience instrumenting a system with metrics, logging, tracing, or usage analytics.
• Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Cody, Copilot agents, Aider).
• Strong written communication for docs and runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Own and extend the MCP Gateway and connector platform; manage auth, scopes, tenancy, rate limiting, and policy enforcement.
• Own the distribution layer and plugin marketplace pipelines; build and maintain shared plugins and development tooling.
• Own platform observability, model gateway configuration, and cost attribution with bench and telemetry.
• Extend the agent output surface with mapping, tagging, and notifications for multiple views.
• Provide enablement, office hours, and mentorship on agentic coding and plugin authorship.
