Job summary

Sysdig is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to build and operate the MCP fleet, own the agent platform, Bedrock runtime, and secure AI tooling for business apps. You will influence architecture, governance, and scale for cloudy workloads in a fast-moving environment.

You bring 6+ years in production-grade software or platform engineering, deep AWS experience, and hands-on with LLMs, CI/CD, and container deployments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in software or platform engineering with production ownership.
• Hands-on AWS — IAM, ECS or Lambda, CloudWatch, and VPC knowledge.
• Full-stack range — backend services, APIs, CI/CD, container deployments.
• Builder, not just integrator — write an MCP server or API from scratch.
• Hands-on with LLMs — comfortable with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and agent development.

Responsibilities

• Build and run the MCP fleet for business apps and databases, and manage the MCP registry.
• Own the agent platform and deployment pattern, guardrails, observability, and hosting substrate.
• Co-own the Bedrock runtime and gateway — model access, cost attribution, and quota mgmt behind a gateway.
• Make AI spend and usage visible — build Bedrock-to-Snowflake pipeline with usage tracking and alerts.
• Ensure secure path — manage MDM config, desktop client setup, credentials, and auth flows.
• Build governance into the platform — route workflows by data sensitivity, enforce least privilege, sandbox unproven models.
