Job summary

Aledade is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer for its AI Enablement team. You will own the MCP Gateway, the connector platform, and the plugin marketplace, ensuring secure, scalable tool calls across Aledade’s systems and models.

You will drive observability, cost attribution, and model routing by teams, implementing governance and reusable tooling for engineers and non-engineers alike. This role emphasizes impact and practical platform depth.

Qualifications

• BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years professional software engineering experience.
• Production ownership of a backend service or developer platform with its auth model and release process.
• Strong production experience in Python/TypeScript/Node/Go and modern CI/CD.
• Hands-on auth for machine-to-machine traffic (OAuth2, OIDC, M2M, token scopes, secret management).
• Experience instrumenting systems with metrics, logging, tracing, analytics for decision making.
• Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Cody, Copilot agents, Aider).
• Strong written communication for docs/runbooks/educational material.

Responsibilities

• Own and extend the MCP Gateway and connector platform with tool integrations.
• Own the distribution layer: publishing pipeline, versioning, and tooling sync.
• Own platform observability, cost attribution, and model routing benchmarks.
• Extend agent output surfaces: mapping, tagging, notifications, and collaboration UI.
• Provide enablement and platform stewardship including office hours and triage of requests.
