K2 Space Corporation is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for the Enterprise Information Systems team. You will design and deliver scalable infrastructure, enabling AI-assisted development across satellite design and mission operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building developer tooling and deployment patterns.
• Proficiency in at least one language (Go, TypeScript, Python, C#) and disciplined SCM workflows.
• Deep working knowledge of designing, developing and deploying applications to Amazon EKS.
• CI/CD build pipelines with GitHub or GitLab.
• Experience with Terraform or CDK, GitOps, progressive/canary rollouts.
• Experience with AI-assisted development processes.

Responsibilities

• Build consistent application patterns to deploy to Amazon EKS enabling AI-assisted development.
• Promote AI adoption in a secure and consistent model.
• Establish AI guardrails, observability and governance for AI-assisted development.
• Build guard rails and platform functionalities for golden-path deployment and fast go-live with low friction tooling.
• Lead long-term developer experience roadmap across multiple disciplines.
• Engineer resilient traffic paths with chaos testing and MTTR reduction.
• Provide approachable docs and diagnostics to shorten support loops.
