Job summary

Reddit is seeking an experienced engineer to design and build the platforms, services, and workflows that improve developer tooling and productivity across Reddit Engineering. You will work across backend systems, infrastructure, developer tooling, and AI-powered workflows to solve problems for hundreds of engineers.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on software development with backend, infrastructure, or platform focus.
Experience building large-scale distributed services and APIs.
Strong Go production experience and Kubernetes expertise.

Responsibilities

Work cross-functionally to prototype solutions and iterate based on feedback.
Design and build backend systems, APIs, infrastructure, and platform capabilities.
Lead high-impact projects in the developer tooling ecosystem and align stakeholders.
Build integrations connecting workflows with CI/CD, security, and deployment systems.
Mentor engineers and shape a roadmap reflecting real developer needs.
