Design and build scalable backend systems, APIs, infrastructure, platforms, and AI-powered tools that improve software development workflows across Reddit. Lead cross-functional projects, integrate tools with existing engineering systems, incorporate internal user feedback, and mentor engineers while improving reliability, usability, and maintainability.

Requirements: Requires at least five years of professional software development experience, including three years working on large-scale distributed systems, strong production experience with Go, and experience building reliable services, APIs, platforms, or developer tools. Candidates should also bring infrastructure or cloud experience, hands-on use of AI-powered developer tools, a record of leading cross-team projects, strong communication and user-focused judgment, and experience mentoring engineers.
